I really enjoyed the food here. I asked for some changes to the breakfast and they were accommodated without problems. The staff were very friendly and helpful. For drinks, the teapot is a lot larger than at other places, and she gave me a refill for free. I'm definitely coming here again :-) 5 stars! (For those looking for the drinks menu, it's on the hidden side of the breakfast menu on the wooden board.)
Often come here for something to eat. Food is always delicious, and reasonably priced, staff very friendly. The owners have made a lot of improvements inside and outside. My husbands says it's the best cider served in the area.
Love this place always come here it is amazing there is a range of beers, drinks and food and events with great staff and lovely people. Thank you kindly.
Excellent venue for a morning coffee and chat. Food for breakfast or light lunch spot on. Haven't been in the evening but they are licensed and I understand that it is very popular.
This was my first time eating here and it was very tasty. Highly recommended. I had the No1 breakfast 10.95 at 12pm. No time limit for the breakfast. Great value for the quality and quantity of food (see photo). I will definitely returning and trying out the dinner menu next time. They also poured a perfect pint of Moretti which was a great bonus
I've been meaning to visit No.1 for such a long time and made it eventually. I was pleasantly surprised. It was quite busy with a nice atmosphere. We ordered paninis with tea and coffee. Which arrived in good time and I must say I throughly enjoyed mine, it was fresh and tasty and a smashing cup of coffee. Tea was served by a pot. Staff very friendly, polite and helpful. A gem of a place.
A fabulous place with great food and great staff who I must give a mention to as they managed to sort out a problem I had while I was there. I'm very much look forward to my next visit when I am down from Edinburgh hopefully in May.
Perfectly nice. bar. Only had one drink and sat outside, but it was a lovely IPA served by a friendly person. Nothing more than that needed. Great stuff.
